SiC MOSFETs (Silicon Carbide Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors) are characterized by high switching frequency, high blocking voltages, low on-resistance, high operating temperatures, and radiation resistance. Based on these advantages, SiC MOSFET converters have a smaller size and are more integrated to reduce conversion losses, increase power density and reduce overall system cost.
